Akita - Large - Young - Male - Dog - NEEDS FOSTER

URGENT - BLACKY needs a foster home with the 6ft fence and where he can be in the house, he is very unhappy in a kennel. His current foster couldn't keep him as one of the dogs decided he didn't like Blacky - Blacky is a very sweet boy who is quiet and a gentle giant. Blackie is a bit shy at first and warms up to you really fast! He is running around in the back yard with the rest of the gang and has hung out with my kids too! My youngest took off the leash off of him and Blacky is so very gentle with my kids and the young puppies here! Please if you want a sweet small gentle giant for a pet - Blacky would be great! Great in the house and stays in the five foot acre fenced yard. Loves to be with people. Please give this dog a chance to be your forever friend in life. Black changed foster homes and at his new foster home he has gone to Petsmart where he hung out with other dogs and let a puppy crawl on him. He took about 2 days to settle in good. He loves to meet other dogs and play chase, but has no idea what to do when they stop. He has also enjoyed going to the kids softball games and lounging on the grass next to me. He is up at 6:30 with the kids and shows his puppiness then and has a hard time understanding why no one wants to play at that time in the morning. He watch the kids go off to school and whines a little, wanting them to come back and be with him. He is sooo happy when they come home from school! He loves to be in the house when I am working, either lounging in the office, or jsut outside my office door. I can tell when he gets up to stretch, he shakes his head and his lips flap, making a funny noise. He does not drool, he has a dry mouth. He got a bath and WOW there was sooo much dirt in that coat he looked like a new dog when he was done!! Note: He needs a 6ft fence when unattended. We think he might not be good with cats.
