Maggie had a tough start in life. She originally came from the reservation, half starved, pregnant and abandoned. She lost all her puppies and was pawned off, by the rescue group who first had her, to a good person who tried, but couldn't handle her. When we got her, she would drag the volunteers up and down the aisles until she found the cat cages.......then she would sit and drool.....not quite a selling point......but at least the volunteers could catch their breath. As she has gotten older, the cat eating remains the same, but she is fine going for long walks. Maggie is very affectionate...... wanting to crawl onto your lap or rest her head on your legs as you sit. She likes water and is pretty easy going with all the other dogs.....just no cats.
