My name is Cupid. My paperwork says I am a Lab mix. I am pretty sure I am a Pit bull mix. I came a long way to get out of a bad situation. I was born on 9/2/08, so I am only a year old, still pretty much a pup. My foster mom rescued me from college kids in Phoenix who left me in the back yard in extreme heat. I was by myself all the time. When I did thing that bored lonely puppies do, they were mean to me. My foster mom flew to Phoenix and rented a car to get back to Billings with me. That is how important it was for her that I not say in the situation I was in. I have been with her for a month now, and am settling in nicely. I don't do well with cats, as I was not raised around one, and I am prey driven. I probably wouldn't do well with real small children, either, as I have a lot of energy. I am currently working with a trainer on obedience training. I am learning to "stay" for long periods of time. If my forever home has another dog, it should be one that has a lot of energy, and likes to play kind of rough. My foster family will be so sad to see me go, but they already have 4 dogs and a cat. I was rescued with the intention of finding a loving forever home. I am approx. 20" high at the shoulders, and 40 pounds. I am up to date on shots and micro chipped. I am crate trained, house broke, and working on obedience. I was rescued from Phoenix where I was inappropriately disciplined and ignored/neglected. They eventually just tied me to a fence in the heat 90% of the time. I could sure use a break.
