What a great big lovable doof! Boomer's family rescued him from another local shelter 9 months ago but they just have not had the time to spend with the big lug. So, Boomer has been languishing in their backyard; bored and lonely. The look on his face at the foster home when he saw all of the other dogs running and playing was priceless! He now spends his days ripping around the yard with his new found friends - the look of joy on his face makes our hearts sing! This is one super fella! Adores the company of other dogs, don't think he likes cats real well though (that is a bit uncertain at this point). Had a 3 year old boy in his old home that would hang all over him so Boomer is great with kids. He is wonderfully housebroke, knows "sit" and does great with the command "come" IN the yard but a little deaf when OUT of the yard. (ahem) There are some brush up obedience classes in his future. So smart - picks up on anything you teach him quickly - very willing to please. Boomer did come to us with a fear of smooth floors. After three weeks, he is now walking across hardwood and is making great strides to attempt tile/laminate. Food and the other dogs has forced him to get over his phobia and he is coming along great! Neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots, wouldn't you want to wake up and see that happy face every morning????
